The dissemination group is leaded by Leopoldina Fortunati, but the members of this group continually change during the action, in correspondence to the different needs that the yearly dissemination program expresses.

Our plan for 2000 was:

1) to build the Cost269 webpage and to promote a group for its continuous update;

2) to organise a workshop with important European Organisation. This was made in Paris, 20/10/2000, at the Ministère de la recherche, where we met two European leaders on "Internet for Citizen": Florence Durand of VECAM (Veille européenne et citoyenne sur les autoroutes de l'information et du multimédia: www.vevam.org and www.villes-internet.net), a very active French association, and Giorgio Pacifici, head of the FTI (Forum per la Tecnologia dell'Informazione: www.forumti.it), a very important Italian association.

3) to promote some initiatives in order to inform large audiences of the existence and of the activity of Cost269. The results of that work can be seen in the space dedicated to: "Who knows and talks about Cost269?"

Our dissemination plan for 2001 is the organisation of a European Conference about ICTs Uses. Many other information about this event will come soon.
